Like all supermarkets across the UK, we have received an edited version of the Government’s shield list of people who are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable to Coronavirus and who have also signed up for help with accessing food. We have cross-referenced it with our customer database to help support those in need and we are contacting our customers on the list to offer them priority access to ocado.com. We will continue to do our part as the Government updates its shield list.
Please note that, in order for us to identify you on the version of the shield list that the Government has shared with us, you must have signed-up for help with accessing food. If you have not declared that you require support accessing food, we will not be able to identify you on the list.
Customers living in Wales who are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable to Coronavirus due to an existing health condition should have received a letter from Wales’ Chief Medical Officer. We have received the Welsh shield list of people who are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable and have cross-referenced it with our customer database to help support those in need.
