Is it true that Ocado drivers earn less than £5 per hour?

No, all drivers employed directly by Ocado not only earn significantly more than the minimum wage but receive more than the (higher) living wage too.

Ocado Zoom uses third party delivery services for some of its deliveries, one of which is Ryde. They strongly refute the allegations that their self-employed contractors earn less than the minimum wage having investigated the specific instances mentioned in the article.

We want to reassure you that it’s unacceptable to us at Ocado for any drivers or anyone involved with our business to be paid below the minimum wage.
